This is Teshko's buddy, our older dog, Echo. He is asking her to play with him.... again. We love this breed so much that we are in the process of getting another ISSR Shiloh Shepherd !!

September 2010 update

Teshko is doing great and is a complete joy to have in the family... he is stabilized and now weighs in at 84 pounds , which is 15 pounds gain since we got him. He is feeling strong, and loves his hikes with us!!

Teshko is doing very well !!

Teshko has now gained 13 pounds, and is being fed raw meat with pancreas powder on it. We have been using old layer hens for this, as there seems to be an endless supply of them this time of year!! He is very obedient, and much more confident than when we first got him.

Teshko is one happy happy dog!! He loves the farm life. He meets lots of new people at our place, because our business is here... but his favorite is children! He is so careful and quiet when next to them, even though he dwarfs many of them! My daughter Hayleigh took this picture of him:

Teshko Meets His New Family

TESHKO, our ISSR Shiloh Shepherd !

This is the story of Teshko (which is a Croation word meaning Heavy) an ISSR Shiloh Shepherd. Teshko had lost 20 pounds rapidly, which caused his previous owner to discover, through veterinary tests, that he has Exocrine Pancreatic Insuffiency. (E.P.I.) He is gaining weight now, with enzyme replacements, however is still about 10 pounds underweight.
He is now 9 months old, and his parents are Zeke and Pica of Solace Shilohs.

"Intellegence" is the thing that really shines through with this dog!!
